Kinderballet ‘Mummy/Daddy and Me’

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays (See timetable for times and locations).

For 2-3.5 year-olds, the Kinderballet Mummy/Daddy and Me class is most suitable.  We encourage our 2-3.5 year-olds to continue in Mummy/Daddy and Me until they are 3.5-years-old and are ready to dance in a class without a caregiver. Some children prefer to remain in our Mummy/Daddy and Me classes until they are 4-years-old and this is absolutely fine! Our youngest dancers will know when they feel ready to dance independently and all children are different.

The Mummy/Daddy and Me class (or Grandma and me, Grandpa and me… the list goes on!) gives 2 - 3.5 year-olds the opportunity to share their first dance experience with a trusted caregiver. The Mummy/Daddy and Me programs have an emphasis on use of props and imagery, songs and dancing to music, musical response through movement, basic movement co-ordination of gross motor skills and a minor introduction to a couple of ballet steps.

Mummy/Daddy and Me begins with a 3-class-trial package (for new students) to give your child time to settle into the program. After 3 classes you will know for sure whether or not you would like to continue.
